The European division of ESL Pro League Season 7 has come to a close with the top seven teams making it to the finals, which will be held in Dallas, Texas, on May 14-20.
Over the last two-and-a-half months, 14 teams played each other on two maps, fighting for seven spots at the finals and an additional $105,000 in prize money, which were allocated to the bottom seven places.
Perhaps the biggest surprise of the league were Space Soldiers, who clinched fifth place with 46 points. The other side of the coin saw fnatic finish 11th, after topping the previous season, and thus out of the running for a spot in Dallas.
MOUZ snuck their way to first place after grabbing full points in the last week, closely followed by Ninjas in Pyjamas, who ended the league with the same amount of points (52) but a lower round difference in the head-to-head.
Natus Vincere, FaZe, and Astralis were also safe in the last-round matches, but the last spot was all up in the air between HEROIC, North, and HellRaisers until the very last results came in.
Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow's team took North out of the equation after grabbing four points off them earlier today, with HEROIC barely missing out on the league as they weren't able to finish off AGO in regulation on the second map, which saw them lose the tiebreaking scenario to HellRaisers.
